Season 3 of TNT’s Claws premieres on Sunday, June 9th at 9/8c. The drama centers on an all female-run nail shop in South Florida and stars Niecy Nash, Karrueche Tran, Carrie Preston, Judy Reyes, and Jenn Lyon. Nail Artisans is considered a “shop” instead of a salon because of the underground businesses going on behind the scenes.
Nash’s character Desna is the shop’s manager and launders money through a local pharmacy that illegally sells pills and narcotics. As Desna tries to save enough money to turn her shop into a salon, she encounters a few (to say the least) hurdles along the way. I don’t want to spoil the show for anyone who hasn’t watched it, but it is definitely a must-see with a lot of unexpected surprises. If anything, at least tune in for all of the elaborate nails designs and South Florida fashions. Check out the trailer for season three, as well as a remix from female MC Saweetie.
