Sweater Weather Makeup

Nothing says Fall makeup like deep burgundy hues and chocolate tones. My favorite thing about Fall makeup is the subtle golden highlights on lips and cheeks that brings out the darker palettes associated with the fall.


I recently attended a wedding with a gold and burgundy color scheme, and I felt like a kid in a candy store! Even the fur stole I wore had subtle hints of brown and burgundy. To get some inspiration for Fall makeup, I went straight to YouTube to find tutorials specifically for brown girls. I ended up purchasing a couple of palettes from Ulta and I went to town. Makeup is so much more fun when you have time to apply it, and you don’t have to stop every three minutes to break up a fight or kiss away some toddler tears.
